The SGM6617 is a high-voltage non-synchronous Boost converter with a wide input voltage range from 2.9V to 23V while delivering adjustable output voltages between 4.5V and 25V. The device also has the input average current limit and true load disconnect functions. The input average current limit can be programmed from 0.1A to 3A by adjusting the external resistor connected to the ILIM pin. The integrated 35mΩ (TYP) isolation FET between the VP and SW pins ensures complete input-output disconnection when the device is disabled.

The SGM6617 utilizes the constant off-time peak current control topology to achieve enhanced dynamic performance. The device operates in PWM mode under heavy load conditions and automatically switches to PFM mode at light load, maintaining high conversion efficiency across the entire load range.

The SGM6617 implements various protection features, such as output over-voltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle over-current protection (OCP), short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown to improve device robustness.

The SGM6617 is available in a Green TQFN-2.5×2-13L package.
