The SGM8192-4 (quad) current-sense differential amplifier delivers a cost-effective solution for precision current measurement across industrial, medical, telecom and computing applications. The device senses the voltage across a current-sense resistor at common mode voltage from -0.2V to 30V, functionality independent of the supply voltage. The SGM8192-4 integrates a matched resistor gain network with a choice of four fixed gain devices: 20V/V, 50V/V, 100V/V, or 200V/V. This precision-matched architecture minimizes gain error and reduces temperature drift.
The device operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply. It draws a typical supply current of 800μA.
The SGM8192-4 is available in a Green TSSOP-14 package. It is specified over the extended -40℃ to +125℃ temperature range.
