The SGM611A121 is a high-efficiency synchronous Buck converter with integrated power MOSFETs and an I2C control interface. It delivers up to 12A of output current and employs an adaptive hysteresis pseudo- constant on-time control (AHP-COT) architecture, which achieves both faster transient response and tighter output voltage regulation compared with conventional control architectures.
In addition to standard mode and fast modes, the I2C interface supports 1Mbit/s fast-mode plus operation. The output voltage can be programmed via the I2C interface, with a reference voltage range of 0.6V to 1.108V and a 4mV adjustment step. Other configurable functions such as voltage slew rate, switching frequency, current-limiting threshold, OCP hiccup/ latch-off, OVP auto-recovery/latch-off, auto PSM/PWM and FPWM operating modes can also be set via I2C interface. An integrated 8-bit ADC is implemented to monitor output current and voltage in real time.
