SGM2583 是一款单通道电源分配开关，工作电压范围为 2.5V 至 5.5V，由 EN 引脚控制，适用于 USB 电源分配应用。
这款器件集成了一个 100mΩ 低导通电阻的 N 型场效应晶体管（N-MOSFET），其小巧的尺寸和低静态电流，使其非常适合空间有限的电池供电应用。
该器件具备多种保护功能，包括软启动、电流限制和热关断。当芯片温度超过 +150℃ 时，热关断功能会关闭输出 MOSFET 并触发 nFAULT 输出，输出 MOSFET 会保持关断状态，直至芯片温度降至 +130℃。在故障情况下，nFAULT 引脚会在 13ms 消隐时间后变为低电平，以此防止误报。
SGM2583 采用绿色 SOT-23-5 封装，额定工作温度范围为 -40℃ 至 +85℃。
