4.5V to 28V Input, 3A Output, Synchronous Buck Converter

The SGM61230S is a synchronous Buck converter with a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V. This device can deliver up to 3A to the output over a wide input voltage range. It is an easy-to-use device with power switches and compensation all integrated in a small 6-pin package. A typical 5ms soft-start ramp is also included to minimize the inrush current.

This device employs cycle-by-cycle high-side MOSFET peak and low-side MOSFET valley current limit. The device is implemented with over-voltage protection (OVP), adjustable input under-voltage lockout and thermal shutdown.

The SGM61230SA enters in power-save mode (PSM) to improve efficiency during light load operation.

The SGM61230S is available in a Green TSOT-23-6 package.
