GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The SGM6518 is a crosspoint switch which is designed to operate from a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply. The architecture allows any of the 16 inputs to be routed to any of the 8 outputs, and it supports one input to one output or one input to more outputs switching. The routing map is configured by SPI-Compatible serial interface. The SGM6518 provides daisy-chain capability, which can update multiple SGM6518s simultaneously by using a single serial interface.

The SGM6518 has 8 outputs that can be 8 single outputs or 4 differential outputs, which depend on the configuration of the analog signal switching application.

The SGM6518 features a flat resistance profile over the full analog input range, which assures low distortion and excellent linearity for switching audio signals. The SGM6518 supports up to 1080p or VGA video for video application.

The SGM6518 is available in a Green LQFP-7×7-32L packages. It operates over an ambient temperature range of -40 to +85.
